Biography

[max collins] [tony fagenson] [jon siebels]

Since there isnt too much information out about Eve 6, I typed up my own little biography with the information that I have. Or you can this biography from the Official Site.

Max Collins and Jon Siebels met in their freshman year of high school, during PE class back in 1993 at La Crecenta Valley High School. In 1996-ish a copy of their demo tape ended up in the hands of Brian Malouf, of RCA Records. He recognized the band's talent, so the guys were put on a monthly allowance and RCA financed studio time. At that time they were called Eleventeen; released two singles, and played many live shows. Their first shows were in coffeehouses, which they usually were not invited back because of the rowdy shows. For two years they were left alone to develop their sound.

Their original drummer, Nick Meyer, quit the band while they were getting ready to write and record their debut album. Tony was introduced, by their manager, to Max and Jon. They quickly bonded and Tony became their new drummer. They recorded the self-title album that was released on April 28, 1998.

The name Eve6 came from an episode of The X-files : there were eight Adams and eight Eves in it. They were all insane. Eve6 was in a straitjacket and a cell, above her cell was a plaque with her name on it. She bit her guards eyeball out because she liked him. They thought that was cool and decided it would be a good name for their band.

Keep you eyes and eyes open for this fairly new, and extremely talented band. If you don't have the CD yet, I highly recommend purchasing it and if you have the opportunity to catch them live, go see them, it's a show worth-while.
